Requirements

Satisfy by completing ALL of the following:

1. Co-organize and reflect on $1$ CS-related event for the on-campus CS community.

Excel by completing ALL of the following:

1. Co-organize and reflect on $2$ CS-related events for the on-campus CS community.

Details

You may co-organize an event with one other person (2 organizers total). Both organizers must still submit all of the relevant assignments, but the proposals may be the same.

The event must be at least 30 minutes in length and on-campus. The instructor can help make a room reservation.

The event must have at least 5 people (total) show up. The instructor can help determine the best way to advertise the event.

The event must be related to CS in some way, either in its topic (i.e. study group for CS 111) or target community (i.e. social for other first-year CS majors).

You will be required to submit an event proposal that specifies the event name, description and topic, organizers, target dates/times, target locations, and target audience. The instructor will reach out with how to move forward planning the event.
