$90\%$ of weekly timesheets accurately and on-time, and…$75$ hours of out-of-class work by the end of the semester (average of $5$ hours per week).All out-of-class time must be documented weekly in both the associated timesheet assignments on Canvas and the timesheet shared with the instructor. The instructor must be able to review the timesheet document history to verify the weekly updates.
Hours not included in the weekly updates may not be used to fulfill this learning outcome.
When possible, a means of verification should be provided (such as, "email TA to confirm" or "see attached RSVP confirmation") in the timesheet. In the case of academic integrity issues, verification requirements will be more strict.
Up to 75% of the out-of-class time reported (or up to 45 hours total) may include time spent out-of-class on other preapproved CS major requirements or prerequisites if that time is spent engaging with the CS community in some way.
